(Asheville Citizen-Times) Three people were killed in a bloody melee at a West Asheville bar last night. The incident happened about 9 p.m. at Mike’s Side Pocket, 375 Haywood Road. Charged this morning with first-degree murder was Stevie Gene Davis, 52, of Candler. Charged with aiding and abetting first-degree murder was Richard Kevin Anderson, 25, of Asheville. Davis is accused of killing Steven Atwell Wike, according to warrants at the Buncombe County magistrate’s office. Authorities said Wike killed two other men at the bar. Davis, the brother of one of Wike’s victims, then killed Wike.

OK, so after the stabbings and a chase gave way…and a fight ocurred. Wouldn’t you think that if a (knife) or knives were involved then thatmeans every second counts. You can’t call 9-1-1 in the middle of a knife fight…seems like one person is going tobe cut/stabbed. It’s a shame that we investigate the ones who tried to stop the killer.
